Megan Drabant is an ambitious performer with a passion for writing and dance science. She is currently a junior in the B.F.A. program at Wayne State University and is a member of Dance Workshop, directed by Meg Paul. Outside of school, Megan is a member of the Michigan Dance Project, directed by Kathy King. She began her training as a child in New Baltimore at Main Stage Center for the Arts, and since then has continued her training at programs in New York and Chicago. Megan has studied under Kat Wildish, Richard Smith, Nicholas Leichter, Professor Robert Reed, and Gerri Houlihan, and has performed works choreographed by Nathan Trice, Ray Mercer, Ron De Jesus, and Sonya Tayeh. Megan is working towards becoming a Certified STOTT Pilates instructor, and after graduation is focusing on beginning her career as a performing artist while planning to continue her education by earning a Masters in Dance Science.
